This is a key role focused on mentoring our apprentices across all locations in addition to delivering technical training to TCWA staff, customers and sub dealers. You will be instrumental in developing our people, ensuring they are equipped with the best technical skills in the industry. As part of this role, you will contribute to the continual improvement of our training programs, support the growth of a strong learning culture and help shape the future of technical excellence at TCWA. You must be prepared to travel both intrastate and interstate to deliver training and develop your professional competency to keep pace with evolving technologies with our products. This is a full time position, Monday to Friday on an 80 hour fortnight. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver structured, on the job and classroom based training

  • Develop, update and maintain training materials 

  • Act as the primary mentor and point of contact for TCWA apprentices throughout their training journey 

  • Monitor apprentice TAFE performance and provide learning and support where required 

  • Collaborate with Branch Managers to ensure consistent training outcomes are achieved 

  • Be a positive brand ambassador throughout all training sessions 

What We’re Looking For

  • A genuine passion for mentoring and sharing your knowledge 
  • Proven technical expertise as a Heavy Road Transport Mechanic 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

  • A willingness to complete a Cert IV in Training and Assessment (supported by TCWA)
